Edits are now underway, so we're headed down the homestretch and making the final lap to victory to THE END! How sweet it is!

TO THOSE WHO HAVE NOT PROVIDED THEIR EMAIL ADDRESS, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DO SO NOW AT THIS ADDRESS OF:

lorikauble@yahoo.com.

My publisher has been working diligently with book stores and distributors to fill the shelves of our book everywhere books are sold when our book is published, based on its existing demand all over the country, and even internationally, which we're so excited about.  However, as a result of the number of individuals on our pre-order email list and those we anticipate will be following-up to provide their email now, we've been assured a second printing will be the only solution to provide everyone else with their copies. Again, we can't emphasize how a minute of your time to send your email address will avoid the prospect of delayed, second-run printings! Who wants to wait for one of the most highly-anticipated true crime books of all of 2022, according to reviews already coming in?

When you sign-up for the Newsletter and include your name and email address, I'll make sure you're the first to receive their first-edition copy of this sordid, wretched, and morally incomprehensible genesis of incidents of crimes committed not just by the criminals who traveled almost 90 miles to victimize the people of this specifically selected, secluded neighborhood, but also by those who were supposed to be protecting them - police, public officials, and beyond! The website address is www.WriterLoriCooper.com.

You won't want to miss it, I assure you!

When this story first broke in the media, we were covered by every major news outlet, including both CNN and Fox News, and across all mediums, from The Associated Press (AP), to newspapers in major markets like New York City, Boston, Washington DC, Detroit, Baltimore, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Cleveland, and so many others; to digital news within major organizations; to magazines such as U.S. News & World Report; to Talk Radio programs across the country; to the leading, on-air radio "mothership" of public radio in NPR, with a listenership of approximately 30 million each week, along with other, televised broadcast news outlets in major markets. Our story also appeared on law enforcement social media pages, some with more than 2 million followers. I participated in interviews across every medium, nationwide. We also made international news in Canada and Australia!

Subsequently, I have continued to participate in interviews by invitation, and have been assured that some of these same media organizations now want the whole story! I'm excited about sharing how this entire story unfolded that created the whole snowball effect. Stay tuned!

Lastly, I want to thank all of you who reached-out to my family and me after reading our story in your newspaper, or hearing about it on Talk Radio, national news, or even viewing a broadcast news segment you saw on your local news station, or any of the many news organizations that covered our story with great concern over a failed justice system, and so many journalists and investigative reporters who had compassion for all that our family endured. Yet, that was just the tip of the iceberg.

We're so grateful to you for your support of our story, and for the outpouring of the kind notes and emails we've received around the world. Our family appreciates you more than we can ever express! Please keep your beautiful emails and notes coming. They help to sustain us on some of our darkest days when we don't have a song in our hearts, but all of you make sure we have one to sing! You've taught us that the human element of grace is in great abundance! Thank you doesn't quite seem like enough. It was all of you who gave us a reason to continue to have hope, and for me to believe I would unveil the truth, find the man who shot my late dad, and do everything I could do to bring him to justice.

The power of people like you who dare to care is one of the triumphs achieved through this tragedy. You can't imagine our gratitude. It knows no boundaries!

At the back of the book is a very comprehensive Appendix of Resources for law enforcement officers and for victims of crime, as well. Abuse of power is a wicked opponent, but please know you don't have to go it alone, and you never have to live in the SOUND OF SILENCE for 4 minutes, 4 hours, 4 days, 40 days, or more than 40 years.

If my family can help you in any way, please feel free to drop us a note at lorikauble@yahoo.com. We want you to know you're never alone!

With grace and gratitude,

Lori Cooper
